The initial test was a urine cytology which came up negative for malignancy. However the cystoscopy revealed a large tumor which was removed by TUR. The tumor was superficial but high grade (G3). Three months later in September the first follow-up cystoscopy revealed another small superficial G3 tumor which was resected during the procedure. Also, a random biopsy was taken which was negative. As of 9/28/11 I was cancer free. The next follow-up will be in early January, 2012, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
